can trim indicators be a brighter color?
« on: March 20, 2016, 08:06:46 PM »
Can the trim indicators in the cockpit be made a brighter color?  In the P-38, the trim indicators are difficult to read because the cockpit is dark which makes it difficult to manually trim the aircraft.  The only time the trim indicator is easy to read is when the sun shines directly into the cockpit, brightening up the cockpit.  The attached film should show what I'm talking about.

This other issue has probably already been reported, F3 resets the selected view mode and defaults to pan view.  I use snap views and I hit F3 to take some screenshots and when I hit F1 back to cockpit view, view mode defaulted back to pan view.

The view mode also defaults back to "pan view" after each flight, forcing me to select snap views each time I take off.  I also noticed it also does it if you switch to a gun position on a bomber and then back to pilot.

I checked my files and none of them are read only, was thinking that could be the issue since the settings don't seem to save but that wasn't the problem.

Can't you set snap views as default in view preferences?

I feel pretty stupid now.

I totally forgot about that preference setting, thanks for reminding me.
