I am also getting the crash on arena load, with all arenas. Win 10 shows the "ahbeta.exe has stopped working" pop-up. Patch 15 was OK. This is new to me with patch 16.

Beta patch 15 worked great. Update to patch 16...Appcrash...no off or online...Unistalled patch 15, reinstalled 16 twice. Same result, Appcrash.  AH2 still works fine.  Not just a Win 10 thing. OS is Win 7 Pro.

Also try to delete you settings folder.

Crash to desktop on Beta 16. Updated from Beta 15 first and it crashed in two arenas CraterMa and Head to Head.

Then downloaded full install and installed fine but when selecting any arena, on-line or offline it crashes back to desktop. Beta 15 was fine as were all other issues.

AH2 still running fine

HiTech:  Maybe it's time to give up support for WinXP;  MS did long ago and no one should expect XP support any more.  Support for VR is way more important than support for luddites like me that still run XP.

Sorry, but no. Same result with offline. And removing the "settings" folder has no effect.

Tried removing settings folder several times and always the same APPCRASH. Uninstalled "16" and reinstalled it two more times. Same crash during several attempts both on and offline. I guess I'll try again with the next update unless a fix is found sooner.

im able to use offline terrains and im able to get into the SEA, but I cant get into the AVA still.

I'm having the same experience with Windows 7/64. As soon as I select offline or select an online arena the game freezes and I get the same message. Had no problems with 15. I've tried it about 8 times. AH2 runs fine.

Hate the idea of having to download the whole thing and start over.

Beta 16 killed my AH beta as well, it failed at the end of the install once I clicked "close" after it finished, and once I try the boot icon/exe, it fails and gives an error as well.  Redownloading the entire beta from the homepage and will try a fresh install and see if that works.

edit - redownloaded the latest version from the homepage, tried installing it on 2 different drives, it installs, but when I try to launch into offline or online arenas, it immediately crashes and gives me an error message.

edit2- messed around some more, when I copied my settings folders over, then tried offline, it still crashed, then I tried online again, and it let me into the MA beta arena.  After that it works offline now.
