texture creation error ?

trying the new game this morning and things started looking dark, got a error in the text buffer....I wrote the numbers down if u need them.. what happened ?

I take it your computer has an ATI card in it?  Try updating the driver.  Depending on the age of the card, it may or may not fix the error.  If it does not fix the error, then disable shadows and the error should go away.

I just got a new computer built with a gtx 760 ...is this the game or my computer doing this ?? texture creation error=8876086C name[] RTF=000000A4 format 00000 . 

How do I put my dxdiag on here ?

As for dxdiag.txt .... follow directions as per Skuzzy below.

Here are the steps to do this:

1. Go to "Start" from the Windows desktop
2. Select "Run" from the pop up menu
3. In the Run dialog box, type DXDIAG and press <ENTER>
4. After a few seconds the DXDIAG utility will be ready (the progress indicator in the lower left corner will disappear).
5. Run the video and sound diagnostics (Select the Display and Sound tabs to do this).
6. Press the "Save All Information" button
7. This will save the DXDIAG data to a file of your choice

Step 8~ I (ChiLLi) am editing (original post was for email)
8. Once you have done this, simply attach the file to a post for us to look for any issues your system might have.

Nov 2015 Nvidia drivers. Are they what Win10 loaded native when you ran the upgrade to Win10?

didn't run an upgrade,,,computer was loaded with it when built..soooo idk

I went to the nvdia website to update drivers but they want me to download java...was not sure if that was the thing to do.

You only need to download java if you want the nvidia application to check your video card. The manual method works without any extras.

That computer came loaded with Windows 10? 

The native sound card drivers are missing and the native motherboard chipset drivers are also missing.

Given that, I suspect the graphic driver was the default Window 10 driver which is a pile of poo.

yes it came loaded with windows 10 ..was not sure about it but the kid talked me into it lol ...as far as these drivers missing is this something he should of done while building the computer ?  Had a problem this morning watching some utube ..screen went black and had a message saying that the drivers failed and then recovered .  So I guess its doing the same to the game .  thanks for the help all . 

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the builder ? Does everything else look ok on this rig ? not sure what all a dxdiag will tell u about it. I know enough about computers to get myself in trouble lol ..seriously though I've learned a lot from people here and enjoy reading and learning from the community here so a big ty to all. Didn't pay a whole lot for the build but was told that I could upgrade it a lot. Can anyone tell me about the quality of the parts inside this thing ? It would help me with dealing with the builder some I guess.

not sure what card I have other than a gtx 760...I have seen several versions of the same cards with nvdia and don't want to get the wrong driver ..idk if that makes sense

Although there's several variations of the theme, knowing it's a GTX 760 is all you need to know for this purpose. Plus of course your language and your operating system. See image. Say "thank you" to Chalenge who searched the right download for you.

Indeed!!!! ty very much Chalenge ...very nice of you to do that ...I'm always worried i'm gonna screw something up if I am not 100% sure . Seems the guy that built it didn't use the chip set drivers for fear I would crank things up and smoke it before his warranty was up...that's his story anyway idk...soooooo anyway .........thanks again guys
