Roald Dahl (author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, among others) -- the Hurricane, as he was a Hurricane ace in WWII.
Not an Ace but did fly Hurricanes.

In 1941, he shot down two Ju 88's in April, one Potez 63 in June, and another Ju 88 in June. Also in April, he fought the Battle of Athens during which 22 LW fighters were shot down. Some sources attribute one or more of them to Dahl (like the sources used for this one: http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Roald_Dahl ). I don't know if there is a more-official tally somewhere.Ah, yes!
