You can thank us and the whole "Candu" Canadian reactor technology for "peaceful purposes" we "sold" India for the payloads on those ICBMs.  Boooo.  Well, the USA did supply the heavy water for the reactor, but they mostly benefited from the Canadian designed and supplied reactor which produced the weapons grade plutonium.  I'm sure it seemed like a swell idea at the time.

In a rainbows and puppy dogs world, wouldn't it be swell if we put the $ we put into ballistic nuclear weapons into our space exploration?  Space.com is my favorite site, and I could spend all day reading and talking about SpaceX and other endeavors.  Nations like India, China, and so on, I'm happy to see them spending $ on space tech that isn't 100% military related.

I wish you were at the Newspace conference in Seattle that just concluded.  It was excellent.
