RIP Buddy Ryan
« on: June 29, 2016, 05:46:15 AM »
He never got us a championship (like everyone else since 1960) but made the Eagles into a team that was feared and fun to watch.

Smash-mouth football and a hilarious, smart-ass coach back in the good old '80s.   :salute

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

So true.  It was as if one of your bar buddies was given control of the team.
