Plane hits an invisible obstacle
« on: August 26, 2016, 04:06:32 PM »

Loaded the Tunisia terrain and flew from A65 to V47 for a full stop landing in a P-40F.

Made a normal landing and taxied to the storch hangar at the end of the field. The landing was opposite the storch hangar end of the field. I taxied into position to enter the hangar but before I made it to the hangar. The aircraft ran into an obstacle and damaged the propeller and ripped off the starboard landing gear.

As you can see from the pic the aircraft is not off the runway and there is nothing in the area to collide with. You'll also notice that the aircraft is still standing on the port side landing gear, but can taxi no further.

From the view of the picture, the storch hangar is on the left side looking at the P-40F.
