This is a great source for period music. And downloading is easy. They have an impressive library.

Great site.  First song that played was, "Straighten Up and Fly Right".   This was my Mother's favorite statement to my brother and me when we were screwing up some how.  Made me think about my Mother and how we grew up.

If you get the chance, listen to the comedy segment of Bob Hope at Camp Roberts in California.  The ending gives you chills.  Or the "Ration Blues", gives you a sense of the home front effort.  Or for a good laugh, "Der Fuehrer's Face".
