I've had trouble while in a gv where I fire on another gv at short range, there is no visible round going out or hits visible. One gv did blow up the other didn't. Do the rounds have to travel a minimum distance?

I have seen the same thing, in fact, all tracers are much harder to see than in AH2.

I have yet to see a hit sprite in a gv, the red dude just blows up.

they are there, try the Thursday night tank fights, and watch how the hits take place, also the FOV has an effect on the hits points.
