 Then walk away.

If he continues to talk behind your back as you walk away. decide a. is he bluffing or b. do i need to handle this.
If B is correct. Turn to him and as you move your momentum at him yell "Your bi## chose me!" and lead to his jaw or nose, elbow or fist is your preference.  continue to follow through with the attack until he is no long a threat.

Sounds like you have friends around so the fight should not spiral out of control.  :uhoh

Again, saying your sorry and moving on is the best bet.

Invite him to a boxing ring!  Be sure to have a ref,he's there to make sure neither of you get really hurt!...... :devil

   Or you could just side kick him in the knee,takes out the biggest guys and he will remember you the rest of his life.

 Myself I would just walk away from it as fighting never solves or proves anything,if you cant walk away,see my first point.

If the guy attacks you, that's one thing.

But getting into an arranged fight is foolish.  You put yourself in the position to be sued or prosecuted.  How is that worth it?  There are outcomes from fights where you just threw your whole life away over some idiot who isn't worth it.  Don't let idiots determine your life path if you can help it.
