Well, at least now they admit there is a [pause and play] issue under Windows 10 in at least one other game. At least it can be a problem with SLI and 4k resolutions.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Newer is not always better seems especially correct in this case.  Check out this just released PC Gamer article saying the latest drivers are causing issues:  http://www.pcgamer.com/nvidias-latest-drivers-are-adversely-affecting-video-memory-speed/

the punch line seems to be hold off using the new drivers until Nvidia gets the bugs worked out.....

Nvidia does have some issues, I agree.
The reason I post these updates, is that the drivers are optimized for newer games.  In this case, Battlefield 1/The Division/Civilization VI etc.
Some folks like to keep updated on the newer drivers.  It doesn't mean that you have to install them.
By all means, research them before installing.
In fact Nvidia is working on a hotfix for this driver, because the 1060-1080 series of cards are having
an issue with the memory clock.

If you're not concerned with optimizing your rig for the latest games, then don't download these drivers.
For me they work just fine.

Please don't get me wrong Coogan, I didn't mean to criticize you at all, am sorry if you took it that way, and I do appreciate you putting the helpful info up.  I recently updated a driver because of such a post, but also feel it's a service to the community to post if one of us finds evidence of issues with a particular driver.

Also thank you for your comment about the hotfix, as I have a 1060, and have been having some occasional odd issues, and this may be the driver issue you mentioned.

It's all good DaddyAce.  I know you weren't cutting on me.
They are touch and go over there at Nvidia sometimes.

*Edit* to further agree with DaddyAce.
I think you are right and it should be reported if issues are found with these drivers.

Hot fix issued: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/977133/geforce-drivers/announcing-hot-fix-driver-375-95/

Thanks Skuzzy.
Since I have a GTX 970 and the bugs most people were facing appeared to hit the 1060-1080 series, I may not install the hotfix.
I just got all my Nvidia profiles set-up and am to lazy to do them again.
