Battle of Stalingrad IL2
« on: November 27, 2016, 04:57:06 AM »
I have just bought  BOS is very good offline and campaigns.

It's like ROF offline is very good.

Multiplayer is Poor as in ROF it is basically hording and ganging.

It is very playable in the offline campaigns /missions.

The external graphics in AHIII seem to be be a lot better than BOS, this haze they have in BOS is a bit odd.

Only thing AHIII needs to update plane skins/cockpits in some of the planes.

Dude have you ever gone to lookup something on the google and so you open up the browser but then you've forgotten what the thing was that you wanted to know and next thing you know you're on this forum and not really sure how you got here?

Since deploying I've developed this weird habit of opening up the BBS right after logging in to Facebook, every time. I think it's just a low-bandwidth time killer, or maybe a plot by HTC to harvest all of our spare time... Or something  :noid

It's is a plot but not what you think.

By posting we know you are OK out on deployment.

I thought I'd keep the theme of people who were already participating in the thread  :noid :noid

Jesus even when I'm baked I can compose sentences that make more sense than the incoherent ramblings you two lay down.

You actually have it backwards. Multiplayer is great, if you play on the right server (Tactical Air War).

Single player is poor because it doesn't have a pilot/campaign system like RoF (yet, they're redoing the entire single player mode very soon to make it reflect RoF's single player.)

Battle of Kuban early access along with a DX11 upgrade come out in December, then they're moving to the Pacific campaign next year.  :aok

Okay, GENUINE opinons on the single-player: Are the new IL-2 games worth buying? Less from a fighter standpoint, and more from the attack/bomber. I would really love a single-player game where I can actually fly the iL-2, Ju-87 and He-111, as they're not really worth flying in AH.

When they redo the entire single player mode, yes it's very much worth playing as it will be much more like RoF. I never flew bombers in AH, but I occasionally find myself in one over there because the flight models feel so good.. it makes them very enjoyable to fly. The turbulence/wind system is even better than DCS it seems.

Here's a link to the dev diary about single player:
