I just change planes, there are many 35 ENY planes that a great.

If I want to patrol for bombers or do a fighter sweep: P47-D11 
If I want to interdict tanks that might have figher cover: Yak9T 
If I really need 2x 1000lb bombs: P38G
If I need alt quickly: 109G2 

I'd be willing to switch sides but I'm not aware of how it works with being in a squad.  I'd hate for none of my squad to be on and as soon as I switch sides they all log on and I cant get back.

Tumor and I took a pair of Storches up to their max altitude one day over tank town and started dropping smoke markers.  Some Jugs tried to intercept us but couldn't hang in the spiraling turns we made back down to the deck.   Fun(ny) stuff.
