I'm in full agreement that frame 3 was great. 

What made it fun?

One target per side would seem to make it less fun due to the predictability.

What else changed?

The coolest part of all FSOs is the plane match ups. We got assigned the D3A Val, and it was a blast. It is very rare to have squad strength Val missions run into F4Fs and P-39Ds in the Main (excuse me, Melee) arena.

Speaking of making lemonade from lemons, the Ki-43 isn't a lemon as such - it's a nice wee plane. But it only has 2 x 12.7mm machine guns with 270 rounds each. It comes apart on a sneeze (I like my ailerons, elevators and rudder in a spiraling decent this fso). So I think 4 kills without re-arming is quite spectacular:

One target per side would seem to make it less fun due to the predictability.

When you only have 1 attack and 1 defend objective it allows you to really get creative with attacks and defenses, you can use screens and feints and the fights are big. I managed to find several fights in different locations last night and had a great time although I was forced to bail.

This has to become the FSO Standard for Meeting Engagement style setups for the time being. 2 attack and 2 defend should be when were back to 125+ per side, 250 pilots total.

It's good to see you can have fun in them. I always find a way to have a good time in a strike assignment. Even torpedo bombers!
