How you like to fly dictates my recommendation. Like to fly fast and boom and zoom, p-51 is good. Like to turn and burn, Spits, zeros and the Brewster are fun.

Try them all and find out what you like, instead of what someone else thinks you should use.  There are certain rides that excel at specific things, but you might have more fun in a plane that isn't the "best" at something.

if you can't find one on the Rook side, try Knights.  The 113th Lucky Strikes is looking for members.   Old or new sticks, if you enjoy flying the P38 to capture fields or defend them, escort bombers or intercept them,  fly as winged pairs and take the fight to the enemy , the 113th is looking for you.  Come wing up for a flight or a night, our vox 113.  We fly as Knights, most Saturday evenings, operations start around 7:PM.
