I went through iracing looking for a good review. I found a few with thet like the BSB2.
Heree is a pretty good review I copied to post here. Not my review.
" have received my BSB2 a couple of days ago and i'm gathering impressions. I ordered the Halo mount but that won't be shipping for a while, so Bigscreen sent the HMD with the universal fit cushions. Here's my findings presented to you in the most semi coherent ramblings I can manage ATM (got the flu).
The E2E clarity is slightly worse than the Q3. but once adjusted, it turned out to be very close. The sweet spot was VERY small at first, but getting the HMD and the universal fit cushion seated right increased it to almost the same level as the Q3. Turns out the stiff universal fit cushion had put little too much distance between my eyes and the lenses for my headshape. The sweetspot increases further with less distance to the lenses, but there's still enough of a gap so that my eyelashes don't hit them.
The colors are a bit warm, the whites have a slight brown-ish tint. Contrast is very good, not quite the OLED pop, rather more natural. There is a bit more glare than in the Quest 3. Not to the point where it bothers me, but it's there. There's also some small amount of mura towards the edges, about the same amount as the Q3.
Brightness is okay at 80% and there's some persistance. Definitely noticeable. Not enough to bother me, but it's there. At 90% brightness and above it is really bad though. I find it unusable.
The universal fit cushions are okay, but I'd rather not use them. I don't like stuff pressing on my face and the BSB2 gets quite warm. They're not breathable, they trap heat in the HMD and completely block the vision around the headset. The Halo strap I'm using for the Q3 does such a good job of distributing the weight and pressure around my head that it makes even the Quest 3 feel rather comfortable. I've taken off the cushion and held the headset to my face like a halo strap would and it improves the comfort significantly with no loss in lens clarity. I'm seeing myself frankensteining a 3rd party Halo Strap to hold the BSB2 if the stock one won't be great.
Just like the Quest 3, the stock Strap is horrendous. Less so than the Q3's, but it's absolutely impacting the experience negatively. The Strap is flimsy and constantly moves, loosens and bothers my ears.
Where the HMD really shines is the resolution, the clarity and smoothness. I've rendered the Q3 at roughly 19MP and 800 Mbps bitrate and while it looks okay, there still a ton of edgeflickering/aliasing because the pixels are pretty big and there's quite a bit of screen door effect. To my surprise I could render the BSB2 at 27MP and had the same GPU rendertimes as the Q3… But the BSB2 looks much sharper and clearer. The screen door effect is completely absent. The 75 Hz feel butter smooth. I don't have any issues with the Quest 3's 72 Hz mode either, but the BSB2 feels definitely smoother and more consistent.
I think I'm gonna keep it. The visuals and performance are just about what I want from a headset and the comfort with a Halo mount will be great. It's expensive for what it is though and definitely has issues."
