Forum tweak idea: In-game ID

[Mister Fork]

Skuzzy, is it possible to add a field on our profile that shows up on the left side of the post author that shows In-game ID?

It would be a optional thing but it would allow those whose forum ID's are different than their in-game ID's. For example, I'm just Fork in game and Mister Fork on the forums.  I know we can add it to our signatures, but something that is standard for all players would stand out more. No?

It could look like:

Mister Fork
In Game ID: Fork   <<<--HERE

My in game name is just different enough to make things very confusing for people.

We all have login credentials that identify our forum accounts to HTC, I don't know why our public usernames have to be set in stone. If it is important for members to be able to identify others as the same account holder should they alter their username/avatar, then everyone should be issued a fixed, nondescript ID number with the creation of the forum account as the key record. This number could be seen within someone's profile, but is not publicly displayed with every post.

It would be easier to just put it in your signature. With some forum software its not worth the modifications when it comes time for updates.
