Once you set the HUD on your gunsight, where ever you point your view, that HUD goes with your PoV.

Too bad it doesn't stay put when you look around, same with the clip board.

That's well and good but I get info quicker from the red tick mark than with interpretation of four lines of numbers.

Here are dials that have clearer ticks indicating 10k altitude.





Another option is to simply extend the 10k tick so that it is longer than the others.

The simplest option is to make the 10k tick yellow!

Not solved.   That's a crutch at best.    I don't look up in the corner of my screen for much of anything.  I'm scanning my instrument panel with glances.
