Head movement radius in cockpit
« on: April 08, 2017, 04:07:45 PM »
Is there anyway to increase the head movement radius inside the cockpit when using VR?  Some aircraft feel very tight, and even simply turning my head left or right to look out the sides of the aircraft causes my head to collide with the canopy.

The issue is that it makes you lose your bearings and can make you feel sick sometimes if you do it too often, because it looks like the whole world is moving when your head clips the edge of the movement radius.

Example: moving your head forward to get a closer look at the instruments will eventually stop at a certain point, and any further motion forward will appear as if the cockpit and entire outside world is being pushed forward.  Very uncomfortable experience.

Some other flight sims let you look out the canopy, but that's unfair to non-VR users.  Just asking to see if the radius in which you move your head about the cockpit can be expanded a bit.  Probably a much harder task than most of us realize.
