VR audio
« on: April 10, 2017, 07:36:34 AM »
Having separate audio files is a nice touch but their are a few problems.

First the VR audio sliders still go to max volume.  Second when you switch between VR and regular AH, the mic boost always go down on both and have to be reset.  Third and this is probably a windows problem, the only way to get the mic to work right is go to windows and set the rift or realtek mic to default before starting the game.

Bu reports really need to go into the bug report forum.

I think Hitech already has this one under control.

Thank you for the reply.

The high volume has been reported but I had not reported the mic boost problem since that is the way it has always been since AH2.  Not a VR problem.  If you messed with the sound setting in windows or the source of the mic on the clipboard, the mic boost would reset to minimum or no boost.  May have to be that way since over boost is really bad on everyone's ears.

Skuzzy, any windows solution to having to always use "Default" in audio devices?  As a side note, we use teamspeak and it too requires a change of setting when switching from rift to a head set.
