No longer flight auto-resume in FS)
« on: April 21, 2017, 10:47:23 PM »
Hi All, I'm having a wee problem with my VR headset randomly disconnecting. I have to kill the AH3 process and reconnect. In the past FSO allowed reconnects and I could resume my flight - is this no longer the case?

I want to say HTC shut that feature down for all arenas because it wasn't working properly, not sure if they got it fixed....dont quote me on that

There is auto resume, in the MA at least, but it is a very narrow window to reconnect. Not sure if FSO is similar.

I was placed back in flight last night after a loss of internet and a modem reset. It was right before the attack on A39.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

IIRC, if you disco you have 5 minutes to get back into the arena. The feature can only support so many people at the same time (across all arenas), so if that threshold is reached any further discos are missed until the queue has room for more.

If your plane hits a mountain, runs out of gas, has critical damage, gets shot down, or is otherwise deemed un-flyable, even if there's room in the queue you come back in the tower.
