In honor of the heavily patched yet constantly leaking "Betty"  I un/reinstalled all my USB drivers, and was able to run the game perfectly with the exception of getting shot down.

It seems, at this point that the culprit MAY have been the USB driver for the rift, I still dont know  why it would decide to work perfectly and then crap the bed all the sudden though.

Still tinkering.

Well it seems that was a fluke,  I tried running the game again it followed the same crashing pattern.

I am begrudgingly reinstalling the game via the Oculus app now.

Betty grant me strength.

Could have been a corrupt setting file.  We will be able to tell from the *.dmp files you submitted.

You happen to be running any anti-xxxx software?

It was Avast antivirus causing it.

apparently the recent update has been causing issues in a number of VR games.

Removed it, problem solved.

Avast and Kaspersky have both been bad that way.

Glad you got it sorted out.
