Awesome series on Netflix, from Norway
« on: May 17, 2017, 08:19:15 AM »
I found a sweet series called Nobel. It's a contemporary fiction about Norway's involvement in Afghanistan, following a Special Forces team between the war and a scandal back at home. I can best describe it as Norwegian (American) sniper meets the theory of Generation Kill being a political thriller. I'm several episodes in and I love it.

Here's a short vignette.

I love watching foreign made films (and television). I found a review of Nobel, I'll probably check it out.
Always looking for interesting things to watch.

Is it in English or borty-borty-bor?

edit - Scanned through the first ep, combined borty-bor with English subtitles, and spoken English depending on the characters/scene.  Really looking forward to this series, thanks EJ.

It's available and active on US, Canadian, and most of the European Netflix catalogues.
