So now any films I make of the game say "Press alt tab to use the desk top" at the top of them and there's nothing I can do about it.

This is resolved you can use the Oculus Mirror tool to get around this issue and it actually looks really nice.

it will show what you actually see including any further diagnostics you have up on your screen and it looks pretty much like what you are actually seeing in game.

The part where you can record and playback in VR is pretty cool too.   :aok   :D
