Sound loss in VR
« on: June 19, 2017, 07:32:23 AM »
Twice now while in the game in VR my sound goes dead.  The events were a couple of days apart. If I exit the game and come back in it works fine.

I don't think it is a AH problem.

Anybody else having this problem?

No issues with loosing my sound in VR. Randy, did you upgrade your Windows 10 recently to the creator's edition?

I have upgraded W10 CE, but that was last tour.  Has to be on my end since I lost team speak as well.  I will do a search on audio issues and W10.  Thanks for the replies.

Try doing a DXDIAG output and check the sound devices to see if there is something there you may need to disable.  I have noted the Windows 10 Creator edition does do away with more device support.

If you spot any sound/audio device being driven using the default Microsoft driver, there is probably where the problem lies.

...also - do you have a Creative soundblaster as your soundcard?
