Math question

Bomber score
 92 Sortie
 64 landed
 2 bails
 2 captures
 66 deaths
 this adds up to  134 vs 92 sorties what am I Missing here?
Checking pilot score on forum I find
 9 deaths in 24j
 1 death in 25h
 8 deaths in b26b
 1 death c47
Which gives a total of 19  deaths. an answer would be appreciated

No doubt, it's a bug. Bomber flown sorties and  ended sorties do not match up at all. If I read that other thread right, you discoed while landing on the runway once? That might have caused it...

I have noticed this also for some time.  I never really looked into it, but just figured that it was recording the deaths of drones in bomber formations even though you landed your last bird successfully.

Score and stats are not the same data bases. And are not for the same concept.

Stats are logged when ever a kill is awarded.

Score is update at the end of sortie.

So any death when a kill is not award will not show in stats.

The score itself is not consistent.  (Deaths+Landed+Bailed+Capture+Ditched) > sorties. He shows having flown 98 bomber sorties but has ended 140.

I'm not talking about the stats page. Only about the bug on the score page as described above.

is it not that the deaths is divided by three?...that would make the sortie count make sense ...i:e 98

well in this case it shows as X by 3 to get 66 deaths....

doh...nope...that makes 96

No.

Sortie ending breakdown has to match with total number of sorties, and always had. I never had any kind of mismatch in my scores there.

For example:

Sorties take 3 planes..if your in formation
You might land 1 2 or 3 in 1 sortie.

If you take off with formation, your sortie count increases by 3.
That's why the number of sorties and landing results match for all bomber pilots. My own numbers would haver matched otherwise, and they always did.
