AHA! I was wondering why I kept getting automatic downloads whenever I opened threads with youtube videos in them.
When you open this thread, if you've configured your browser to ask where to save downloads each time (not doing so is a
security risk for Winblows), you should get a prompt to download "SYKU7DfEJT4". That's because the regular URL from the address bar of a utub video won't work with the forum video tags, you need to use the "share" link for the utub video.
Using the URL of the utub page like this:
[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYKU7DfEJT4[/youtube]
causes the download and looks like this in the post:

[...]there is an option in each users profile which controls how Youtube videos are shown. Look in the "Look and Layout" section of your profile. The name of the option is "Show YouTube videos as a link.". That has to be unchecked for Youtube videos to show up as embedded.
Once that is unchecked, then the Youtube link has to be wrapped with the youtube tags.
