I too tried to be a historical hurricane squadron leader. My guys were split into sections of four, with three pilots in a V formation, each with their respective flight leads. The most I had at one time was four full sections and one spar. We did our best to blow past the fighters, and hit the bombers. I setup my squadron in several good runs, before the dedicated guys like Zoney came in and pushed us down. Our comms amongst 601 & 610, who worked together the entire day, were excellent, and I imagine that is what the guys in the real thing did. I'm looking forward to the next one, and can only hope it's as much fun as Saturday was.
