Would HTC benefit if I played Aces High via steam?

The inability to log in with the existing account adds a cost to me.
I don't have too many steam friends.
Adding as a non-steam game seems to be the only practical thing to do, but what does that really accomplish over just keeping AH as a steam-independent game.

So seems the easiest, best thing for me to do is simply nothing and trust that AH will get the benefits of Steam exposure without existing uses like me trying to actively promote it.

I created a free account for testing and so I can access the forum and community hub. My main account will still be my regular AH account but you might see FLS2 in the free arenas.

well it worked for me to some extend.

I still have my old rank and scoring within the game but I lost all my perks and achievements. I don't mind it do. cause it already have been worth it for me. an old friend of mine saw me launche the game and he instantly pmed me that he wanted to play again. I will bring him an joystick today. 

(he does not own a creditcard so paying trough steam is much better for him.)
