Shilo,
- Simply download the zip file, then
- unzip or drag and drop the contained CustomSounds folder into your main Aces High directory, and
- to remove them just delete the same folder.
On my system Windows 8.1 Pro:I noticed that when I first extracted the folder into my Aces High directory,
it was blocked by my malware check software on my system.
My system does that to all files that come from another source. I
right clicked on the the folder and selected properties, after it was properly located and then simply
checked "unblock". Sounds could then be heard.
If this does not help. Answer this checklist please:
- Did you "EXTRACT" the CustomSounds "Folder"
- Did you extract the folder into your current Aces High "DIRECTORY" (could be named diferently)
- When you "EXPAND" this folder, do you see "DESKTOP" folder, and
- When you "EXPAND" Desktop folder do you see several *.bank files listed
If there is anything above that you are not sure of, or were not able to locate then I suspect that you either did not "UNZIP" and "EXTRACT" the "CustomSounds" FOLDER into the proper DIRECTORY. The sure fire way to check to see if it did load correctly is to check to
see if your intro music has changed. (I had my "MUSIC" turned down using the GAME SOUNDS button and then slider inside of the game.) When you hear string music instead of drumroll music for the intro you have done it properly, congratulations.
