Paladin, you can find companies that will build custom PCs for you if you don't want to assemble it yourself, go to PCPartPicker and figure out what you want, then start shopping around at the various custom builder sites. I've used a local shop for 20 years now, which is gamer focused, and for 50$ they'll assemble everything and load the OS, latest drivers, and test it for a couple days to ensure there is no DOA parts. Great way to go over a factory HP/etc type box, and as others have said, there are lots of options on builders already started here. VR is a great option now too, I'd go for at least a 1080 if you plan on going that route, and the cost to access it is at an all time low right now too, less than 1/2 of what I paid last year when they came out. Just get the Rift, not the Vive, if you're into cockpit games. Budget wise, you can go VR/Rift, and build pretty much the "tits" gaming system right now, a 1080ti with a 7700k CPU with SSDs and so on.
