S Events looks fun I m new here

So when do they happen? Do the icons show up or is it set to be more realistic and the icons are off ?
Do alot of pepole fly in these?

All of the events are listed on the calendar here:

In most of our events the icons are turned down to 3K for enemy, to help with the realism. Having them off has generally been frowned upon due to the fact that everyone is looking at small dots on their monitors.

The amount of players depends on the event, but for example, Friday Squad Ops usually draws 180-200 people each Friday.

what about friendly icons I see in the main on-line arena all those ugly goofy icons. is 3k much lower than the main on-line arena? or is there any arena that has them off all the way?
not saying one way is better I just enjoy no icons at all both sides. my monitor is big so maybe that's why the small dots aren't an issue.

Looks like you guys but allot of work into it ill give it a go.

Alt-I will allow you to adjust your icon settings. Flying with no icons at all is challenging.

with Alt I   I can turn them all of just for me? If so, great! That's how I have flow for 10 years, zero icons friend and foe. Love this Sim's flight model... but not the icons on it is so distracting, but that's my problem. Having the ability to individually turn them off is a nice move on the developers part. Thanks so much for the tip.

I see these custom room arenas.  If I hosted a no Icon custom Arena someday and set icons to zero (friend and foe) could others turn them on for themselves with Alt I?

In arena settings you can set Icon range to 0

hey simjim,

There will be a scenario running in the special events arena over the next 4 saturdays at 7pm our time.   Walkons are allowed so just turn up at that time and you will be assigned a unit.  They last for 2 hours or until you have lost your virtual lives.

Scenarios are the best place to experience more historical accuracy within Aces High.

Only next Saturday's frame starts at 7pm our time, the rest are at 8pm. 

Scenarios are the best place to experience more historical accuracy within Aces High.
