Taken them to the antique road show.   They will tell you something.

I have a submarine tin toy that runs on alkaseltzer (so) tablets.   From my dad when he was a kid.

Marx the leading toy maker of its' time.  Probably made 1940 to around 1950ish.  Maybe even earlier 30s maybe.  They have value.  I would have them appraised by a toy expert.

If they haven't been restored or missing a lot of parts they may be worth more then you think!  Hint!  If the person you have appraising them asks to purchase them

don't sell them.  They are then undoubtedly worth more then he will offer for the train set.  Reputable Antique dealer or appraiser may be able to help.  If I were you I'd

Google Marx Toys.  If these are original these well could be worth something.  Google Marx Toys you will be surprised.

Caboose logo in the picture is Marx. Definitely Marx brand tin toys

Search on ebay using the road name and number of the railroad item, may be some on there already. But they may be worth less then what you are expecting. There are a lot on there that arent even selling at $10 per item
