Stupid Windows Question...
« on: November 26, 2017, 06:07:06 AM »
Trying to make a screenshot of something which doesn't show up in the film viewer only in live gameplay. My PC has a Print Screen button but I can't seem to find any new pictures when I bash away on it. Does this function work anymore in Windows?

If you are running the DX9 version of the game, you can use the game ALT-S command to save a screenshot.  It will be placed in the "scrshot" folder where the game is installed.

Print screen still works in Windows, the image being stored in the Clipboard until a new clip takes its place. You can paste the Clipboard items into an appropriate program, i.e. images to Paint and texts to Wordpad and the likes. If you need a shot of a particular window, Alt + Print Screen copies only the active window.

If you need to take a screenshot during playing AH, the best choice is Alt + S which will make a screenshot into the C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High III\scrshot folder. It takes a while for a screenshot to save so you can't make them every two seconds. 10 - 15 seconds intervals may be a reasonable expectation.

Alt + S works has been working for me in the Dx11 version as well.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Yup,I posted a film, few weeks back. BAD GUY wasnt on the film viewer, BUT I WAS shooting him. :headscratch: Was a weird looking film :x I had saved the film because the guy I was flying with was doing that bomber drone forward and backward warpy thing :neener:
