I'm boiling down some maple sap today to make syrup, finishing it on the stove in the kitchen. I'm down to about 1.5 gallons boiled down from 25 gallons of sap. I just tasted some of the amber nectar and a smile washed over my face like kid.
Last year I ended up with about 32 oz. of pure maple syrup. Mmmmmm.
Any one else tap maple trees this year?
