In bold are the two I believe to survive the group stage and I have them in the order I believe they will finish.

Group A: Uruguay Egypt Russia Saudi Arabia

Group B: Portugal Espaņa Morocco Islamic Republic of Iran

Group C: France Denmark Peru Australia

Group D: Argentina Croatia Iceland Nigeria  (Tough group this)

Group E: Brasil Switzerland Costa Rica Serbia (Another tough one)

Group F: Deutschland Mexico Sweden Korea Republic

Group G: Belgium England Panama Tunisia

Group H: Poland Japan Colombia Senegal (bold predictions group)

What are your predictions for the group stage?

Group A: Uruguay, Russia

Group B: Spain, Portugal

Group C: France, Denmark

Group D: Croatia, Argentina

Group E: Brasil, Switzerland

Group F: Sweden, Mexico

Group G: Belgium, England

Group H: Colombia, Japan

I only missed 3 in the group stage (Germany, Poland, Egypt).

i think england lost it on purpose. Far easier bracket.

I read something that suggested exactly that.  I actually couldn't see the game so I am relying on what others are saying about it.

It was a crap game (England vs Belgium)

Should have gone golfing.

Yet in the first minutes of the game England almost scored.

Why didn't Belgium not try for a loss?

januzaj was clearly not being a team player by going for the goal and win.  i didnt watch the japan poland game but apparently they played keep ball for the last 10 minutes of the match and not venturing over the half way line.

I'm glad that there is VAR now, im sure that they would have called this a good goal, i really cannot see why they disallowed it:

Notice how the player after getting stomped on gets right up without any theatrics.

france looks very strong. Well organized, lot of individual talent, they are a strong contender for a win.
Uruguay is mauling Portugal now. Not nearly as many goals but well played game. Uruguay defense seems impenetrable...
