Does this also mean you can't use it anymore in custom arena's? I use it here for aim practice. (The little Corsair infront of the enemy's where to shoot)

the .target command is the late bullseye type target that you could bring up to view bullet spead/drop. The cross hair target can only be used in the training arena and off line

The dot target command has been moved to offline only!  I hope it gets restored to the training arena as I use it often to help players understand ballistics.

  The lead calculating gunsight is totally different,I would hope that players who enable it in custom arenas post that this feature is enabled..doesnt seem fair otherwise!

  Add me to the people who want to be able to use the dot target command in a custom arena and the training arena.  It makes a good training aid. 

I will probably be using the lead calculating gun sight tonight in a custom arena as a training aid.  You are right.  It needs to always be announced that it is on.

I like to add to my confusion that a part of the reason why the TAB command and the .target command where the same thing was because of the wish Brooke made. You can still TAB target enemy planes and follow them trough clouds. I thought that was fixed now. It was not

Hehe, your age is showing Morfiend..... You are forgetting that the AH Training staff run the Training Arena and have full CM command control of how it is set up

That "3. the dot target command is no longer available online" was meant for the general public and for the gaming arenas.....

But I'm sure you already figured that out shortly after you posted or there abouts

We must be talking about two different options.

Lead Target Computing is still an arena option.
Access to the ".target" command is not an arena option.  We removed access to that command from online arenas.

Understood correctly....

I just edited my earlier post to see if there was a possibility of the Trainers having it RE installed in the Training Arena only, for teaching purposes.... The "hard coded part was just a thought, because of something I remember reading in an earlier post some where on these message boards.....regarding how some people were using it as a crutch per say....

I do understand the reason why it was removed from online arenas....
