August '18 KOTH Dates

Saturday KOTH will be held 25th August at 3pm EDT, 8pm BST, 9pm CET in the SEA II arena.  First plane 109G2 as chosen by last months winner Larry. 

I'm hoping the New KOTH CM will be in place and ready to host the US running in August.   :aok

I believe that he deserves a Big Sincere Thank You from all of the AH Community Members for all the time he has donated to the Aces High Special Events, including designing 2 new Special events that seem to hold their own and continue to keep going:

"Combat Challenge Series"   and the more recent "Fortress Europe"


What happened to Phast?   He was doing great as a KOTH CM?

Also, I thought Kanth was a member of the CM Staff, but noticed the other day that her CM Staff Tags were gone and in her Signature it said that Kanth was gone from the game?

I hope Phast didn't leave also!

Hopefully they can find  someone to host KOTH as good as fuzeman did it back when he was KOTH CM, or someone as good as Bruv119 is now....

Nef, Phast and Kanth have all left the team. 

Just waiting on confirmation at the moment but hopefully it won't take long.

I have full faith in their abilities and knowledge of the KOTH rules.    :airplane:

Really enjoyed fighting you Larry.  You always beat me, but there was back and forth and I had chances I just didn't quite connect with the shots on.  I find that's the rarest thing, when you've got an opponent that is extremely close to evenly matched.  So often one person or the other always beats the other guy, even if they're both close to the same level.

They were great fights. The ones where your heart is racing and afterwards you have to wipe the sweat off your hands. Its been a long times since I've had fights like that. You know its good when the only sound you hear is your stall buzzer the whole time while you're hanging on your prop at 80mph hoping for a shot.  :salute

Enjoyed the heck out of this KOTH even with me being the most experienced KOTHer there, flew it back in Air Warrior, and me also being the only one to NOT win a round  :rofl

Some things never change :)   All the wabbit teeth marks should be healed up by next month.

Is there going to be an August "US KOTH event"?  Or perhaps have 2 Saturday afternoon KOTH events for August, if it is doable this late in the month.....

I'm hoping to be able to fly KOTH now that I have had a little bit of time to deal with stuff, etc.....
