Man, I can't believe I missed it.

I love how they use a saw to cut the cross bar on the truck to get the thing in.   So friggin' typical.  "T-I-A" is what we said.

He's making progress.  This is the newest I was able to find.  Gotta give the guy credit, I admire his tenacity and hope he makes his dream come true.

I feel sorry for the guy.   

If he flew 2 weeks here in AH  he would have learned more about flight than working a year on his design.

looks EXACTLY like the Plane(if the term is even applicable to our Frankenstein's Monster) my best friend and I made! Only ours was a 2 Engine model. Used Lawn Mower engines and Plywood for main fuselage .. and wings with wooden slats covered in tent material for the wings. Control surfaces...yup, cut from Street Signs(obtained covertly) and old License Plates. Dont judge...we went further than the Wright Brothers did!!! The maiden flight was canceled due to SEVERE WEATHER....aka the Lightning and Thunder emanating from the looks and yells of our parents They knew us well!!! Was one hell of a bon-fire We converted the Lawn Mower engines into Go Cart engines, so wasnt a TOTAL loss The props we fashioned werent very well thought out..Talk about VIBRATION((also from Street signs) lol. We did however go all across an 200 yard field! Most of the Condemnation from parents was due to a MAJOR design flaw.....BRAKES Trees WILL stop you...but may lead to Parental Heart attacks and or MAJOR "GROUNDING"

In this day and age there are no secrets and no need to kill yourself trying to blindly reinvent the wheel.
