Just wondering if you've gotten around to assigning the missions. Haven't seen anything yet.

Daddog or applicable CM,

Please give Borete no later than 3pm Thursday to send the missions to us. If we get it sooner we'll post here and let you know. If not I say Wotan takes over and the missions should be sent to him. Wotan if you can get the missions divied up (I know you wont have a lot of time to get fancy...) by Thursday night or early Friday that would be great.

And for anyone else looking in on this little spectacle, don't hit that "volunteer to CO" check box thingy if yer not going to actually do it.    :)

I don't know if last week's Axis no-show squad, the 416th, is game for this next frame, but Wotan you oughta find that out before assigning any missions to them. If they are out, then we're down a squad - and you need to keep that in mind when planning (the hole they were supposed to cover cost us pretty big).

This is a cut and paste of the TOD rules on the TOD site. There is absolutely no reason a squad can't find a frame C.O. If any member of the Jagdgschwader 52 -Los Bravos- reads this then contact me or post here on the TOD forum as to the status of Borete or your squad will be dropped from the TOD. If Borete has some sudden "real life" issues this week then a member of the -Los Bravos- needs to be the frame C.O.

To all Axis squad if we don't hear from -Los Bravos- by Thursday night I will send who you pick the missions. Just let me know.

Note the two items in bold.
6. Responsibilities:
·   Pilots will be responsible for the following:
Squadron CO:
o   behavior of his pilots during the event.
o   report anticipated participation numbers of his squadron to the TOD team before the event.
o   find and report to the CM team one volunteer from the squadron to lead ( C.O. ) one TOD frame.
o   when it is that pilots turn to C.O. a TOD and he is unable, then the squadron must find a replacement or risk being removed from the participation list.
o   assuring that pilots in his squadron are fully aware of their duties and responsibilities in relation to the TOD event. This includes orders/plane/field assignments.
Pilots:
o   Report for the frame at an appropriate time, (on the hour or before). The frame will start 5 minutes after the hour whether C.O.'s are ready or not.
o   take steps to find out plane/field/orders assignments for the frame.
o   be familiar and always obey by the rules of the event.
Frame C.O.:
o   Read and understand all the rules as they pertain to the current event ( TOD )
o   receive and review the mission list as sent by CM Team.
o   assign the squadrons to the missions as sees fit. Ensure that squadron COs are notified well in advance of the frame (Thursday night at the latest).
o   find/recruit the CGI coverage during the frame as necessary.

Almost 6pm Eastern... nothing.

Please send the mission list to Wotan.

Also, and very important, please let him know if he should be assigning any missions to the 416th.

I reckon we gotta recruit another squad into this soon because it'd be tough being down a squad for the entire TOD.

For Rogue squad, I'm going to go with last week's orders until I hear otherwise. Please pass along anything you hear, guys. Thanks.
