hitec,

Will the battles be Axis vs. Allied or a mix? How large will the individual battles be? 8v8, 16v16?

Cheers.

According to the website....

"War Online: Pacific is the first in a series of fast action WWII combat simulations. War Online: Pacific uses a WWII plane set combating Japan against the USA.It couples a high fidelity flight model with fast paced dog fighting action. "

Haven't seen anything on "size" yet.

it would be good to get the cvs involved from the outset.

not alot of games have any good WW2 cv operations.

Not sure why you quoted me?
I was referring to the match making that junky was talking about.

Don't take my quoting you the wrong way

If I typed it another way, I might possibly have typed that we don't know that HiTech has perhaps already included things such as match-ups of skill or "tier levels"..something similar to what you were discussing

HERE, Hitech says runways dont even exist, my guess is that leaves out CVs as well. Im thinking they will have air spawns in a small timed arena where your spawn over and over again like COD or many other games amassing as many point towards "war cash" as you can each round.

"Capture the sheep" style game play set with a time limit.

If it becomes a money sink and starts to drag the "company" down like an anchor, it would be a smart "business" decision to cut it loose. Never say never.

Well, you might want to wait until there is the smallest piece of evidence of that before worrying about it.

It's just as possible that WO:P is the life line that allows him to keep his dream game Aces High III afloat.

And what makes you think that would stop any negative comments from showing up?

I'm not saying a negative post will never be made on a new forum.  I'm saying it will give WO:P more "curb appeal" for prospective customers not to go to the forum and already see 17 years of piled up bbs excrement.

New game.  Fresh start.

I have asked for them before.  Not sure that I ever got a real answer back.  Is it s technical issue?  A game play issue?  an ROI issues?  Not sure.

It would seem to make sense for this.

Hahaha ... there is only one dream game....and that is one that makes you money....biggest problem for a business owner (especially one who has been self employed for a long time) is making sure you have enough money to not have to get a job...after so many years, having a boss would just be frustrating...

LoL.  Maybe after 17 years of dealing with all of us, he dreams of just going somewhere and punching a time clock and only having ONE boss.   :D

We have seen plenty of evidence, check the numbers in the arena...... dropping week after week.

Did you read the posts on the stream page? Nope, because if you had you would have seen many old players that havent played in a long time took the time to trash the hell out of AH on those boards.

If they start it in 1944, it will work just fine.

1942 or 1943 could pose problems
