Suggestion: Unpaying accounts - not free planes

Numbers seem to be rising. Knee jerk reactions looking for quick responses can go both ways..... good quicky, bad quickly. Much better to take small steps and watch the road. It is a business, not a ball game.     

Hence the reason HTC is using a new title to test the effectiveness limited feature F2P accounts.  They can see if it shows promise before deciding if they want to fold that improvement into AHIII.

How long do you get to play Monopoly before you have to buy it.

Pretty bad analogy considering it costs the same amount to buy Monopoly as it does for 1 month of AH and you have Monopoly for life. Monopoly is not SaaS.

How many of you when you log in would toggle your ID to be in a queue for guests to the game to do vicarious ride along's where they can only observe in commander mode while you play? It would probably be good that they don't hear VOX and maybe see range text. But no communication to anyone playing the game. I know many players who look at join requests from strangers as an irritation. This could also become vicious with live streaming or screen capture to abuse and embarrass someone. A bit of that took place near the end of AH2.

Or they could join a CM or AI CM who did a CMeye trip through the Live MA once every 15-30 minutes like a tour bus at a wildlife park full of battling Velociraptors.

I would have allow any new player in my plane any time.. good idea actually.

as for the OP idea it has some merit, would be pretty easy to mailshot old subscribers call it Big weekend or something.

Numbers are traditionally going slightly up around the holidays, only to drop down again afterwards.

There is no such thing as a Euro prime time. For us on this side of the pond the game have been pretty much dead for a long time. You can only play at weekend nights if you want to find any decent number of players online.

And if people have issues that players join there plane than there should be an option that could turn off the request for that player. Easy fix.

I am pretty much agreeing with Lazer. I would let any new player join my plane, heck I would even let them take control if that means they have fun.

I got one just last week I believe, may have been the week before. Never heard of the guy before. He stayed a bit.
