I remember the night HTC launched the WWI kites,  had 30 odd players strung out in conga lines between bases and the fighting was epic.

Following on from that.  Lets do War online WW1:  The Western front.    :devil

Same concept air spawn FFA over the trenches with a handful of AI.  Buy skins and grind your way all up to 2 new models 1 allied and 1 axis.

I would have loved to see HTC do the planeset from Red Baron 3D for WWI planes.  Alas, it is not to be.  We have the best, why bother with anything else?

If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.

I had never noticed the girl in the bathing suit by the bridge.

Another note... I have two air speed indicators in my ride. One is always terribly inaccurate as it is grinding ice for margaritas. Never leave base without them.

It will always be one of the great disappointment of my life not to have seen more done with the HTC WWI arena.  I have played every WWI sim out there I think, including the new IL2 Flying Circus.  HTC's flight characteristics seem to me hands down the best.  And in VR, the experience is jaw-dropping.

If there is ever a WO:WWI I'll spend money there.

I think that is the Verdun map.  An AVA map?  I had downloaded it off the custom arena before.  I'm not at my game machine to check though.

It's Kanth's Verdun Map and it's the Special Events Arenas WW1 Combat Challenge Event from late December.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Very good but the map is unfamiliar to me and I use to spend a lot of time in the WW1 arena. In about 2 months I will be back and stirring it up in paper airplanes again..  <S> Pops04
