HTC - Come on guys present a professional product
« on: February 24, 2019, 01:46:57 AM »
Having to ALT F4 out of Riftval is seriously amateurish.

No other game out there has us doing that.

Additionally, it has always been a bug bear of mine when your text says...…"AH needs to restart" (or words to that effect) and it does not.  It does nothing!!!  lol  Think like a customer......ok the game will do an update and then just die!!!!

The others do...the game will do an update and put you into the game environment.

Man I could rant for years on how you miss the client side of the game but....meh

I've never had the game tell me it needs to restart, ever.

you Sir have probably never been accused of being a racist yet you were very racist to me.  Because you do not recognise it does not mean it does not happen.

YOU are the reason I change my game ID so often.  If you do not know what my ID is you cannot target me so easily.  YOU will claim your abuse of me is not technically racist.  To me it was, so forgive me if I do not give a crap what you think.

I will endeavour to record what I experience.  However, I assure you that the game does state that it needs to restart after an update yet it does nothing.

Thanks for your input though.

I can empathise with this observation.

Crap like this makes me re-evaluate whether or not I want to come back after my cataract surgery. I'm thinking that I've outgrown this bunch of children.

The AH update programme does exactly that nonetheless.

Never had the restart thing. It’s a bit aggravating when trying to close the game.

And you shouldn’t have to change your game I’d because of that. That shows they are winning. But I can feel you on admins not doing anything. I get permasquelched for arguing with a guy that’s arguing back but no response for the guys that get vulgar and personally insulting and abusive even when reported and the office is emailed.

The problem sounds more like a technical glitch rather than the game itself. Could be a hidden something within your firewall or on the pc. Check out the avenues before ripping the game.

I have had my fair share of game issues over the years, but considering hundreds play without issue it does not seem like it is a game issue. Perhaps post in Tech support and let us help you figure out the issue rather than complaining in General.

No it is a problem with the map. I had to do the same thing to get out last night.

Here are two other posts about it...

 Jan 2019 https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,395860.msg5250705.html#msg5250705

It was "fixed" but it still hits many players.
