I heard today that there is a new Midway movie due out around Veteran's Day, Woody Harrell as Chester Nimitz. Anybody have info on this?

I heard about it last year, that's about all I've heard, its got a huge budget.

I don't think Woody Harrelson is a good enough actor to pull off Chester Nimitz.

Honestly, I thought the first Midway was kind of corny and not well made. plus there were too many scenes straight up taken from Tora Tora Tora. I'm hoping they do a better job this time.

Tora Tora Tora, quality would be an improvement.

I love the original Midway.  I just ignore the corny love story.

It has the cast of doom:  Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, James Coburn, Glenn Ford, Robert Mitchum, Hal Holbrook, Toshiro Mifune, Cliff Robertson, Robert Wagner, Tom Selleck, Eric Estrada
