Export control and keymapping only

Would be kind of nice to have the option to export key and controller mapping so that they can be posted on these boards or as an option for new players to either select from upon game load or to download from the forums to expedite their control set up.

True, but the typical user today doesn't understand file management on their computer, but they can usually find My Documents or their desktop.

Don't forget the import option if they can't find their settings folder.

It may be late in the game to ask for something like this but, an export button that will export your current keyboard and controller settings to say the new temp folder. Players will have to be communicated to that with a recommendation to copy them someplace for later. Would have saved many vets who have reported various losses of the game and were angry they had to start from scratch.

It's common knowledge at the same time they are cautioned to back up all the pertinent folders in the future for "just in case" like I do as a habit. Another possibility is a backup button that will make a copy of those folders to the backup folder destination of your choice outside of the Hitech Creations folder tree.
