I agree this didnt see action in squadron strength, but it has been used for the last 150 years and it is still effective. imagine hitting a guy that just flew by you while taking off?

Whatever you embedded in your post, its not showing up properly: Its just asking for me to download a flash file (which seems really dodgy).

For me it opened YouTube. And actually, when typing this I can see the embedded video in the Topic Summary with the badge "Watch on YouTube" on it.

It's better to use the Share link for youtube videos. If you copy the web address the video does not display.

I think that vid is fake.  I never trust something when the object leaves the frame and comes back in.

This, plus that sandal traveled a long way without slowing down much.  Sandals are awfully light.  It doesn't feel right to me either.
