Neither 2080 nor 2080S are worth buying - to little speed gain and much to expensive if compared to 2070S.
Buying a 2060 nowadays is a really bad choice giving the performance (and VRAM) gain offered by the 2060S.
Both 2060S/2070S face real competition with RX5700/5700XT

Eh. Take this with a grain. The 2080 is for sure worth buying if you have the money laying around. Now if you’re on a budget the 1060,70,80 are all great cards.

as said, too little speed gain for too much money over the 2070S, 2080S is ~10-15% faster but at 30% higher price. Id rather buy the 2070S and use the leftover money to buy larger/faster SSDs.
