Running of the Gnomes - WoW event

Tomorrow night at 2300 UTC (midnight BST/1700 Eastern) I'm going to be taking part in a special event in World of Warcraft. This will be the tenth occasion of "Running of the Gnomes" which takes place on one US realm to raise money for breast cancer awareness. As I mainly play on EU realms, I am using a trial account so that I can be part of this great experience. I have created a Gnome Mage there - complete with pink hair - and raised it to the level 20 where it is capped due to being a trial account.

I am really looking forward to participating in this event, which is reported to have always been a lot of fun! More details can be found here - Running of the Gnomes Year 10, Oct 12th!! - and I also have a fundraising page at CandiFloss's fundraising page if anyone would like to contribute to this great cause! :)

Flossy, that's very cool! My stepson has been playing WoW for over 10 years, and somewhat is a master at it. I'll share your post with him: he can appreciate it. Best to ya.

Thanks nooby52, it was a lot of fun and I'll definitely do it again!  :)

I'll post some screenshots tomorrow as it's after 2:30 in the morning here now.  :)

in project 1999 we used to have the annual naked gnome race! Wow stole our idea!  ;)

Thanks, it was a lot of fun!

Hoping to do it all again on Classic next Saturday - had to upgrade my account on the US servers to access the Classic realm being used.  As I already own the full game I only had to buy a month's subscription which I can cancel after and then renew any time I want for any other events.  :)
