   Good evening everyone, here goes round two for Riftvals Bombers!  We will be going wheels up shortly after 9PM EST.  If you are a bomber pilot and want to chill with some other bomber peeps be sure to join the fun!  "Mass Formations" are what we are going for.  The  mission will launch at 9PM EST 12/27/19 – Server “Riftvals Bombers”.  When you join be sure to tune to Ch.176 (Allies)!

You're doing this in a Custom Arena?  Out of curiosity. why did you choose that route instead of running mass raids in the Melee?  Are you just organizing first?

The Melee could really use guys like you running organized bomber raids!  Escorts might join in.  Iterceptors may be forced to interdict.

It could be the start of something beautiful.

I agree, if our sqd saw a bunch of bombers upping for wherever in the melee on our side we would gladly provide and escort or at least offer one. On the other hand, if we saw something like that on on their way to our base we would happily intercept

You ask a fair question, I had contemplated doing this in the MA and would be open the the idea.  However this is geared towards allowing bomber pilots from all sides to fly together (well 16 at the most) en mass.  If people want to start doing this in the MA it would be amazing.  If it picks steam and we run out of space, I will see about running it in the AVA or MA.

Awesome.  Well, like a band, sometimes guys just need to play together a while in a garage until they find their sound.  If things start to gel for you guys, maybe you could agree to start a country rotation where you all form up and fly a couple of mass strat missons a night.  That would be a tonic for the arena.

Dang.  I'd even be tempted to log into the Melee for that.    Either to escort or intercept.  Either would be fun!  Especially if you pre-announced the nights and the times, and daring all to join or oppose.

Have been a knight since day 1. We are the 325th Checkertails VFG. Mostly allied fighter rides but we have others too and we have some bomber pilots that might take an interest if it were in the MA, who knows.

If you start getting some takers, maybe sometime we could try setting up a multi-player Staged Mission in the Custom Arena where all your guys could fly bomber on a target run and I could have AI interceptors attacking your formation so you can get gunnery practice while keeping formation.
